There has been a bookshop in Chorleywood since 1972. It has always been owned by women although not always the same women! The current owners are Sheryl Shurville and Morag Watkins. “We pride ourselves on personal service and our speedy delivery service. Most items ordered one day are delivered the next.”
The bookshop runs lots of events with various well known authors, as well as being key players in the Chorleywood Literature Festival. See the events page for full details. The fifth Chorleywood Literature Festival will be on November 19th - 21st. We have just confirmed the new Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, will be attending! Get the dates in your diary now!
